Kymco Xciting description

2006 Kymco Xciting 250, This is Xciting... - New for 2006 the Xciting 250 follows in the footsteps of our flagship, the Xciting 500. Sharing the same list of standard features, the Xciting 250 offers all the cruising luxury but in a lighter, more nimble package. The 15 inch front and 14 inch rear tires, adjustable hydraulic rear shocks and telescopic front forks smooth out the bumps. A well-padded drivers seat with adjustable backrest, four-position adjustable brake levers, aerodynamic windscreen offering excellent protection from the elements all add up to a incredibly comfortable and safe ride.

Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco has filed a design patent for a motorcycle based on Kawasaki‘s ER-6n. The design, filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, shows a motorcycle with a similar engine, swingarm and offset lay-down shock as the ER-6n and its faired sibling, the Ninja 650. The Kymco design has a different frame and bodywork than Kawasaki’s naked Twin.

Kymco Quannon 150 Unveiled

Tue, 30 Dec 2008

Taiwan-based Kymco unveiled three new products earlier this month at the International Motorcycle Show in Long Beach, CA., including the Quannon 150. The air-cooled 149.3cc single-cylinder “sportbike” weighs 299 lbs and produces 14 hp allegedly allowing it to reach speeds of 72 mph. Speed is unlikely to be the main goal for beginners or commuters who purchase such a bike, but the claimed 70-75 mpg fuel efficiency will surely strike their fancy.
