Kymco People description
I am selling my blue and cream 2011 Kymco People 50cc for $1500. It has approx 3500mis on it, a little bit of typical wear and tear, only pre-owned for the past 2 yrs to commute from Uptown to the CBD to work (3 mis each way). You do not need a motorcycle endorsement on your license for a 50cc scooter. It takes 2 stroke oil (about $10 at Big Easy scooter for a bottle, takes half a bottle each time, once every other month or so) and premium gasoline. Last I calculated, I was getting over 100mis/gallon (one gallon tank). Oil changes are only needed once every 3000-4000 mis, but I have done it every 1500-1800 (so twice). It costs $40. I just had it done Friday and the mechanic says the bike is in terrific condition and that any interested buyer is welcome to verify the condition with him.The seat is brown and lifts up to store some small things, there's a hook to hang a small bag in front of your knees. I've noticed that the larger wheels make driving over the potholes much easier than with smaller wheels. It was originally purchased at Big Easy Scooters on Magazine. I'll even throw in my helmet if you want it...it's the shiny silver one, a bit scratched up from me tossing it around, it's a Large but not sure it fits true to size. I have a small head and it is only a little oversized. DOT approved - for a brand new 1 at Big Easy it's about $55-75. Happy to let you have it with purchase of the scooter until you feel like forking over more money for a new helmet.Feel free to send me a text or give me a call at or email via Craigslist.

2018 Kymco Like 150i ABS Review
Mon, 05 Jun 2017Get your scoot on for less Scooters are big in European and other markets – around here, not so much. “Scooters and soccer,” Kymco PR rep Peter Jones tells us, “they’re just not a part of our culture.” Still, Kymco doggedly sticks to its guns, offering a full line of scooters where many OEMs have reduced or eliminated their scooter offerings. “The coolest person you know, that’s a scooter rider,” Jones goes on to say, and 54-year-old Taiwanese firm Kymco’s latest offering caters to the coolest of them.
2014 Kymco Downtown 300i Review
Tue, 23 Dec 2014Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield and Troy Siahaan In an era where motorcycles are becoming more specialized (sportbike, standard, cruiser, adventure, etc.), scooters are diversifying as well – everything from 50cc city runabouts to the 650cc-plus mileage gobblers capable of serious touring. Striking a balance between them are models like the Kymco Downtown 300i; a middle-of-the-road scoot capable of doing it all. 2014 Kymco Downtown 300i Editor Score: 79.0% Engine 17.5/20 Suspension/Handling 12.0/15 Transmission/Clutch 8.75/10 Brakes 8.0/10 Instruments/Controls 3.75/5 Ergonomics/Comfort 7.0/10 Appearance/Quality 7.0/10 Desirability 8.0/10 Value 7.0/10 Overall Score 79/100 2013 Uber Scooter Shootout + Video Models like the Yamaha Smax, Honda PCX150 and Suzuki Burgman 200 all benefit from being highway legal, but sometimes you crave something a little more – be it more storage capacity or simply more power.
24 Hours of Grange, Take 2!
Fri, 09 Sep 2016MOrons Dirty Sean and T. Trizzle race around the clock this weekend Last year, the mighty men of MO participated in the UMRA’s 24 Hour Endurance Race at beautiful Grange Motor Circuit in Apple Valley, California. Their highly modified but lightly tested Honda Grom carried them to a less-than-stellar finish but yet a satisfying sense of accomplishment.
