KM RACING 6 PIN RACE ADJUSTABLE PERFORMANCE CDI UNITTHIS IS A D/C CDIPLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR ENGINE IS D/C & NOT A/C.IF YOUR 4 WIRE PLUG HAS 3 WIRES & 2 WIRE PLUG 1 WIRE,THEN YOUR MACHINE IS D/C FIREDIF YOU HAVE 2 WIRES IN THE 2 PIN PLUG IT IS A/C FIRED.D/C CDI,S ARE LARGER THAN IN SIXE THEN A/C UNITS .FULLY ADJUSTABLE FROM 15 DEG - 20DEGEasy way to Figure this out is 1. Tun your Ignition on see if you headlights come on, If they do not, then you have an AC system. 2. Another way to figure out weather you have a DC System or an AC System, Disconnect the Battery while the engine is running, engine stall's that means it is DC. 3. If your CDI only has 4 Wires then is DC. 4.Check The size of your CDI. If its very Large then it's DC if its small enough to fit in your palm then is AC. DC systems use the Battery Power to provide the CDI. If your engine stalls and you happen to have a DC ran System. Then that means your battery is to weak to run the engine. Things to check when that happens is, Check your Ignition Switch, Then check if the Stator/Magneto is producing Current, Then check to see if your battery is at Proper voltage, The way the Kill switch works on DC systems is it cuts the power supply to the CDI from the Battery. AC Systems have usually 5 to 6 Wires to Run the Engine, the Stator is what powers your CDI in this case that is your providing Current for the CDI, the kill switch works by Ground/Shorting the CDI to stop Spark. fitment list not complete up to 300cc ON THIS CDI

Kymco DTX 125: another adventure scooter will appear in Europe
Fri, 24 Sep 2021Almost a year ago, Kymco presented its first DTX 360 crossover scooter, and just the other day it became known that Kymco introduced its younger brother DTX 125, which is declared as a 2022 model in Europe. it is equipped with a 125 cc liquid-cooled engine that develops a maximum power of 13 hp at 8750 rpm. The decrease in cubic capacity also affected the mass of the device: the DTX 125 "lost" to 176 kg.
Kymco Patents Its Version of Kawasaki ER-6n
Mon, 22 Aug 2016Taiwanese manufacturer Kymco has filed a design patent for a motorcycle based on Kawasaki‘s ER-6n. The design, filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, shows a motorcycle with a similar engine, swingarm and offset lay-down shock as the ER-6n and its faired sibling, the Ninja 650. The Kymco design has a different frame and bodywork than Kawasaki’s naked Twin.
