For sale is a 2009 KTM 450 sxf. It is a great bike for the woods or track. The motor has been rebuilt with about two hours on it. The bottom end, cases, crank, trans, pump, are all new. They came from a bike that was parted out new off the show room floor. The cylinder is replated by U.S. chrome. stock piston. New stock valves. New stock clutch. Hinson clutch basket. FMF slip on muffler. JD jet kit. The bike runs great. I rode it in both woods and mx. suspension has stock springs with race tech gold valves and factory connection res. This bike was built by a professional motorcycle mechanic. I love the bike. The only reason i am selling is to make room in the garage. You can come check it out at your convienience. Produced once more with the help of Krämer Motorcycles, the RC 8C will have a limited run of 200 numbered units, with a suggested retail price of US$39,599. The most significant updates are with the 889 cc engine, with new, lightweight titanium valves and connecting rods, plus forged pistons using a new two-ring system (versus the previous three piston rings).
Erik Buell Racing 1190RS and KTM RC8R Make AMA Superbike Debuts
Mon, 11 Jul 2011The July 8-10 Mid-Ohio round of the 2011 AMA Superbike series featured the debut of two new superbikes, the Erik Buell Racing 1190RS and the KTM RC8R Race Spec. Chris Fillmore (11) finished an impressive seventh place in a red-flagged Race One for KTM-HMC Racing while Geoff May (99) placed eleventh on the Amsoil EBR 1190RS. The second race saw both riders finish in the top ten with Fillmore in ninth and May in the ten spot.
