2011 KTM SX 65, Factory technology in miniature: an absolutely fully-fledged sports machine and pretty much an adult bike, unlike the other bikes in this class. Designed for up-and-coming riders from about 8 to 12 years and up to a height of 160cm. And just like the grown-up KTMs, the 65 SX also defines the benchmark in terms of performance, handling, standard equipment and workmanship.

At the forefront of two-stroke technology, this engine shows its brute force at all speeds, always responds readily to the throttle and handles perfectly. It is completely water-cooled including the crankcase, withstanding even the toughest of dogfights. The revolutionary engine design with the crankshaft positioned close to the centre of gravity not only allows perfect handling of your 65 SX but optimises the intake flow in the crankcase. The patented KTM pressure-control led exhaust valve (PCEV) and re-engineered out let slide give you the edge in terms of power. Monster Energy Kawasaki racer Ryan Villopoto demonstrated once again he is a the top of his sport, clinching his third-consecutive AMA Supercross championship. Villopoto cemented his title with a win in front of 43,149 fans at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah, his ninth main event victory of the season and 33rd in his career. Though he led every lap, Villopoto didn’t have as easy a time in Salt Lake City as he has had in some races this season.

Enduro Legend Juha Salminen Announces Retirement

Finnish racer Juha Salminen announced his retirement from racing at the end of the 2013 World Enduro Championship, capping off a career that included 13 world championships and a record 96 World Enduro Championship wins. Only the great Giacomo Agostini holds more individual motorcycle racing world titles than Salminen with 15. “Enduro as a sport has given me a lot, but now it is time to move on to new challenges.
