KTM Other description

This a 2014 KTM 85 SX Supermini 111 Stroker motor. This bike was built for Mini O's and only raced there for Supercross and Motocross. Everything on the bike is Brand New. The Suspension was built, tested and dialed in at the JGR test track. Suspension is set up for 115 pound rider. It has a FMF pipe and silencer. We tested with several combination of exhaust pipes and silencers and the pipe and silencer that is on there is what made the best power. This thing pulls hard from the very bottom all the way to the top. It has Renthal Handle bars,Chain and Sprockets. It also has a set of aftermarket Titanium footpegs that are lighter and wider than stock. It has an aftermarket seat cover. The motor was built, tested and dialed in at JGR. We tried every combination available getting the perfect set up for this bike. The motor is a 111 stroker JGR built with a NIhilo head. This bike is VERY FAST. I have photos from Mini O's with him pulling massive holeshots and even battling with Austin Forkner in the last Supermini moto of the week. The cost on the bike alone was $5000. that does not count the Chain,Sprockets,FMF Pipe and Silencer, the brand new Pirelli tires, the suspension, the motor work or the Kite hubs and the excel rims or time spent testing. This bike also has the aftermarket oversized front rotor and the big bike rear caliper and mount. it also has the aftermarket orange Anodized triple tree clamps. I guarentee if you were going to build this bike you could not do it for any less than $10,000. This bike has less than seven hours. We are only selling because we are moving to Big Bikes. I think I have listed everything but I know I am forgetting something,if you have any questions please call for details. Call about tax and title charges,we are a dealership and do require it from certain states. Winning bidder must make contact within 24 hours, place a $500 deposit and have the bike paid in full within seven days. If you have any questions please call Dillon or Charlie @ 618-548-XXXX. We can ship the bike, once again call for a shipping qoute. We also go back and forth to Cairo,GA and could assist with delivery if possible.

Say what you will about the depleted state of the American roadracing scene, it shouldn’t diminish the fact Hayes put in the effort and beat some formidable challengers to the title. Here, the AMA congratulates Josh Hayes on his accomplishment. Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Hayes entered the 2013 AMA Pro SuperBike season on the heels of the most dominant campaign in the history of the series and with his primary threat no longer in the paddock.

AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days A Rousing Success

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

AMA members and motorcyclists from across the country celebrated the people, machines and sport of motorcycling at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, featuring the riders and champions of Husqvarna, over the July 19-21 weekend. The annual gathering of tens of thousands of motorcycling enthusiasts participated in vintage racing, took in numerous bike shows, met their motorcycling heroes, purchased vintage parts and motorcycles in the massive swap meet, spent time with old friends, and met new ones, all at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The AMA and the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, extend their appreciation to AMA members, racers, enthusiasts, collectors, restorers, fans, clubs, companies and others who supported the three-day celebration of motorcycling’s history and heroes.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.
