 EXPORT READY !!  2007 KTM  SUPER DUKE 990 WITH EASY COLLISION DAMAGE! LEO VINCE EXHAUST ! Domino grips! Bike went down on the left side . Damage: Clutch lever, windscreen left edge, front fairing left side rash, left main side panel , bit of rash on left side of radiator, shift lever bent, shift linkage threaded adjuster rod snapped, front peg bent, left front turn signal, left bar end, left mirror, right rear side panel has a few paint chips. Great running bike with some rash that does not all need to be addressed. Bike is being sold in condition "AS IS!" with a New York salvage certificate MV907A. The insurance company marked the salvage certificate "Not the actual mileage!" since they could not verify the mileage. The odometer clearly shows 3,200 miles! Please check your local salvage laws before bidding. I can arrange shipping at a reasonable rate. We are located 45 minutes from major NJ ports for export. KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

When KTM revealed its 1290 Super Duke R at EICMA, it made it very clear the show bike was a prototype. An actual production version is on its way, as recent spy photos indicate, but the actual prototype displayed at Milan still maintains an aura of mystique. The specs sheet, for example, was intentionally vague.

A contrite Maverick Vinales has returned to the Blusens Avintia Moto3 team days after his brash, and admittedly hasty departure at this past weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix. The FTR Honda rider quit the Blusens team on Oct. 10, returning home from Sepang without once hitting the track.
