KTM Other description

Selling my 2005 KTM 525 SMR supermoto street legal bike. I have the clean title in hand.
This bike will flat out smoke any of the stock DRZ supermotos out there! Nothing against the DRZ's, I used to own one.

I really hate to sell this but Im starting a business and could use the cash for more responsible things.
Less than 900 miles. It is really just like new!
This bike started out as a supermoto its not a hodgepodge of parts like some of the supermotos out there.

I am the second owner. All books and service manuals will be included.
540 cc Big bore completed at about 500 miles. only 400 miles on new cylinder and piston.
Stock giant wave front rotor.
Baja Designs headlight.
Braided stainless brake lines.
Just put new stock KTM brand titanium values in along with new valve guides. ($1000 with receipts) KTM had issues with the stock brass valve guides so I had a KTM expert replace the valve guides.
Fresh engine oil and coolant.
aftermarket Lynx speedometer. Mileage is not accurate but as far as I know there are less than 900 miles on the bike.  From the factory this did NOT come with a odometer so there is not way to be positive how many actual miles the bike has.
Electric and kick start.
I also have some other accessories for it like a carbon skid plate, grips extra rear turn signal(the original is a little discolored) KTM oil filters, spark plug, Electric radiator fan and a rear race stand.
the headlight glass has a crack but it seems to still work fine.

This bike is like new. Tires, chain, sprockets, brakes are all in like new condition. This bike doesn't need anything other than a good rider that can handle the power.

If you have any questions please ask prior to bidding.
The title says for street and doesn't say anywhere on it off road use only.  To be clear this has a street title and has a license plate. Please check with your local DMV prior to bidding. If you aren't able to license the bike I will not take any returns.

Buyer to arrange shipping although I would be happy to help and make arrangements with your shipping company. I also wouldn't be apposed to delivering the bike if Prior arrangements are made.

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.

2014 KTM 1290 Super Duke R Revealed

Tue, 01 Oct 2013

Almost a year after it was revealed in prototype form, KTM has released final specifications and photographs of the all-new 1290 Super Duke R production model. Until now, KTM had been coy about the specs for its large-displacement naked bike, but we can now see what makes the Austrian manufacturer nickname the new Super Duke R as “the Beast”. In typical KTM style, the 1290 in the bike’s name provides only a ballpark estimate of the actual engine displacement.
