2013 KTM Moto3 250 GPR Production Racer Available for Sale

KTM has begun accepting orders for a production racer version of its 250cc Moto3 World Championship race bike. The production racer will be available in February 2013 though orders will be accepted from July 1 to Oct. 1 of 2012 for 45,000 euros (US$55,400).

Chad Reed tasted victory for the second time in three weeks at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., leading all 20 laps and fending off a last-lap challenge from rookie upstart Ken Roczen. Red Bull KTM factory rider and three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma won stage five today followed by his teammate Jordi Viladoms and KTM supported rider Kuba Przygonski allowing KTM to scoop the top three places. Today´s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.
