Report: KTM Developing 375cc Twin for Bajaj
Tue, 08 May 2012Austrian manufacturer KTM is reportedly working on a new 375cc Twin-cylinder engine for Indian partner Bajaj. Bajaj owns a 47% stake in KTM and the two companies have worked together in the past for the KTM Duke 125 and Duke 200 as well as the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS (pictured above). According to India’s Business-Standard, KTM and Bajaj are collaborating on a new 375cc engine at Bajaj’s research and development facility in Akurdi, India, outside of Pune.
KTM Reports Record Year, Selling 107,142 Motorcycles in 2012
Fri, 11 Jan 2013KTM reported a new record in sales in 2012, selling 107,142 motorcycles. That represents a 31.9% increase over the 81,200 motorcycles sold in 2011. The Indian market helped KTM set its new record with consumers in that country picking up more than 8,000 units of the 200 Duke.

Fri, 01 Jan 2010The comfort of Arai’s lids in the upper range are, for me, beyond compare. I’ve spent the last two years wearing this lid, and, just my luck, I crashed the first time I wore it. Chasing a Fireblade down the Brands Hatch straight, his engine blew sending me and the RC8 I was (briefly) on, sliding across his oil towards the gravel.
