KTM Other description

Up for Auction is my 2013 KTM RC8R Super Sport race Bike. This bike has 1 year warranty and along with 2 more years extended all coverage. This by far is the hottest bike on the market and there was not one place I went where there was not a crowd around this machine. Be warned this bike gets ALOT of attention. People walked right by the Ducati Pannigale that i would ride with and talk about this bike. It comes with top of the line brembo brakes and marchesni Italian Rims, and Led front lights. I bought this just 2 months back and bike is in brand new condition.  The Bike is stock and the engine has not been tuned or re-mapped. The only thing i have done with the bike was add the gas tank pad red bull,  clutch and brake reservoir caps, KTM racing Orange RIM tape on Rim's, black and orange adjustable brake and clutch levers shorty's or long however you perfer, and I have removed the rear fender piece that holder license plate and houses turn signals. I have added Amber LED strips along the brake light for a clean and empty rear look without ugly bulky plastic drop. The bike has bottom side exhaust and WP steering damper that came stock on it. Bike has not been raced or ragged on and has only seen break in action that has not gone above 8k rpm's nor redlined at 10k. Although not in the pic the bike also comes with rear seat that can be added and black rear footpegs for passenger. This bike is more of a race bike and they sell them without these parts but give to you on the side.

This is an 1190 CC V-twin engine so it sounds amazing and not like the rice burning high pitched japanese bikes that everyone has on the road. If you want to be original, stand out and be the talk of anywhere you go this is your bike. I am only selling because I am purchasing a new house and would rather use the money toward that. Once again there is not a scratch on the bike and it has been babied and barely broke in. Please feel free to ask any questions.... Good Luck.

Pit Biking; good clean fun for all the family

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

If you haven’t tried Pit Biking yet, you’re missing out on some incredible fun, and it won’t break the bank. The majority of pit bikes are of Chinese origin and I guess, are best described as modern day monkey bikes. Yes Chinese, and I’ve witnessed them being thrashed round all day long without missing a beat, so Jonny Wong and co. are finally getting there on quality and reliability!  Although Pit Bikes are designed for off road use, an extra few hundred quid spent on matching up wheels, fitting tarmac tyres and some crash protection will mean you’re track ready for a total of around £600.
