Features: Suspension travel and damping Up front, there's a 43mm upside down fork with 270mm of travel, while a revised PDS monoshock on the rear now provides even better traction and optimum surface contact. Both are made by renowned supplier WP Suspension. Of course, rebound and compression damping can be adjusted separately for a quick and precise set-up to match the track and rider. 2013 KTM Freeride 350 Gets CARB and EPA Approval

The KTM Freeride 350 has cleared emission certification testing in the U.S. including the state of California, getting approval from both the Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board. A leaked powerpoint slide from KTM’s North American dealer meeting in 2011, listed the Freeride 350 for 2013 and they may still happen.

A long-legged beast Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield What a beast, I thought to myself as I put my first few miles on the 2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R. In retrospect, that thought kind of made sense given the fact that the mill tucked beneath the 1290’s new tank design is an iteration of the Super Duke’s 1301cc V-Twin – the naked bike dubbed by KTM marketing folks as “the beast.” And beastly it is. Even in larger ADV garb coming in at 542 pounds dripping wet, the SA-R is still an absolute ripper of a motorcycle that is fully capable of serially killing rear tires.

Euro 5 updates and new turn-by-turn navigation system for the GT Credit: Photos by Sebas Romero and KISKA GmbH KTM isn’t officially at EICMA, but that didn’t stop the Austrian manufacturer from getting in on the fun, announcing an updated 1290 Super Duke GT for 2022. The GT receives a number of updates first introduced on the current Super Duke R, including its Euro 5-rated 1301cc V-Twin engine that claims a peak output of 175 hp and 104 lb-ft. The Super Duke GT also gets the naked bike’s CAD-designed five-spoke wheels that KTM claims weigh 2.2 pounds lighter than the previous GT’s wheels.
