2013 KTM 85 SX, 2013 KTM 85 SX THE LITTLE BIG ONE The 2013 KTM 85 SX is the motorcycle that will change the 85cc class with its completely revamped chassis, new bodywork and a further refined, more powerful engine, it's more competitive than ever before. Features: Suspension travel and damping Up front, there's a 43mm upside down fork with 270mm of travel, while a revised PDS monoshock on the rear now provides even better traction and optimum surface contact. Both are made by renowned supplier WP Suspension. Of course, rebound and compression damping can be adjusted separately for a quick and precise set-up to match the track and rider. Chassis The proven 43mm upside down fork with 270mm of suspension travel and the rear PDS monoshock ensure optimum traction and suspension comfort on the KTM 85 SX. Rebound and compression damping can be adapted individually to track and rider. Handlebar The 85 SX is has a super-strong, tapered Renthal handlebar made of high-quality aluminium alloy whose bend is perfect for motocross requirements. Frame Made of top-quality chromoly steel with a lightweight, bolt-on aluminum rear subframe, the frame ensures maximum stability at minimum weight. It has a rugged polymer coating in a classy charcoal grey metallic.

US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
KTM Reports Q1 2014 Sales Results
Mon, 14 Apr 2014KTM reported a record year in 2013, but the Austrian company does not appear to be slowing down in 2014. KTM claims sales of 32,994 motorcycles over the first three months of the year, an impressive 26.8% increase over the same period in 2013. Considering KTM sold a record 123,859 all of last year, the impressive start bodes well for another attempt at a sales record in 2014.
125, 200 Duke Models Drive KTM Sales
Fri, 30 Mar 2012KTM is off to a strong start in 2012 with a 19% increase in motorcycle sales, thanks in large part to the popularity of its 125 Duke and 200 Duke. The Austrian manufacturer says the two small capacity streetbikes form a large portion of the 8300 units it has sold so far in 2012. Based on those numbers, KTM claims it leads all European manufacturers in sales over the first few months of the year.
