2012 KTM 690 ENDURO R, 2012 KTM 690 ENDURO R, I hate to see it go but just cant seem to find the time to ride. Purchased in January of this year with 3 miles on it (from the tuning). All miles have been on pavement and only for the purpose of keeping the fluids moving through it. Never seen the dirt, never dropped, tires still have the little strands on them. I have put on a skid plate, 1.5 inch Kouba lowering link, FMF Titanium pipe, and it has been professionally mapped, by SMS racing in Denton, Tx were the bike was purchased. Had hopes to do the Trans America Trail, but going to put that on hold a year or so and hate to see the bike just sit. I have all the original paperwork and parts. (I think I even have the little plastic covers that go over the instrument cluster and clutch cover. I have just about 1,000 in extras on this bike. EICMA 2012: KTM 690 Duke R Brings Out Your Inner Hooligan
Wed, 14 Nov 2012The biggest news from KTM at the 2012 EICMA Show was the unveiling of the new 390 Duke and a prototype of the upcoming 1290 Super Duke R. In between these small and large naked bikes, KTM announced a new R-spec version of its middleweight 690 Duke. The 690 Duke was introduced in 2007 and received a substantial update last year with a 690cc engine claiming 67 hp, leading KTM to call it the world’s most powerful Single in a production model.

Mon, 26 Apr 2010Yoshimura have released a set of exhaust cans for the KTM Super Duke. The RS-3C slip-on is described as a new design for the slip-on end can, based on the traditional oval can but with carbon fibre coned end-caps incorporated. There is a considerable increase in performance over the standard can.
Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.
