2011 KTM 65 SX, A small engine with cutting-edge technology the KTM 65 SX gives you the confidence to take on larger bikes. The revolutionary engine design with the crankshaft positioned close to the center of gravity not only allows perfect handling of your 65 SX, it also helps optimize the intake flow in the crankcase. The patented KTM pressure-controlled exhaust valve (PCEV) and re-engineered outlet slide give you the edge in terms of power. The frame is modeled on the full-size bikes. As with the larger SX models, premium quality forged parts are robot-welded with high-grade chromoly steel pipes, guaranteeing first-rate quality. The WP mono-shock and the 35mm Marzocchi USD front fork add to the professional performance. The suspension is adjustable for individual riders and changing track conditions. Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.
2014 GEICO EnduroCross Series Kicks Off May 2

Entering its 11th season of competition, two new venues will be joining the calendar, allowing more people to witness this exciting indoor off-road racing action. If you’re not familiar with it, EnduroCross tracks incorporate various elements of extreme off road racing into a Supercross-style setting, including rocks, boulders, logs, sand, mud, a water-hole…and even a few special obstacles like giant tires thrown in! Known as the “toughest racing on two wheels,” this indoor off road racing is sometimes described as carnage on two wheels, and will certainly keep you on your feet.
2014 KTM 1190 Adventure Introduces Motorcycle Stability Control Technology
Tue, 24 Sep 2013KTM unveiled the 2014 versions of the 1190 Adventure and 1190 Adventure R, along with a new rider assist system it calls Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC). Developed with anti-lock brake system manufacturer Bosch, MSC applies combined-ABS and traction control even when leaned over into a curve. Sensors gather data on various parameters including wheel speed, lean angle, pitch angle, acceleration and braking pressure.
