KTM Other description
2011 Ktm 65 SX, 2011 KTM 65 SX - Financing Available - KT4533 - A small engine with cutting-edge technology – the KTM 65 SX gives you the confidence to take on larger bikes. You will be amazed at how perfectly it follows the line you want to take, how sensitively it responds to changes of direction and how well it grips the surface. The revolutionary engine design with the crankshaft positioned close to the center of gravity not only allows perfect handling of your 65 SX, it also helps optimize the intake flow in the crankcase. The patented KTM pressure-controlled exhaust valve (PCEV) and re-engineered outlet slide give you the edge in terms of power. The frame is modeled on the full-size bikes. As with the larger SX models, premium quality forged parts are robot-welded with high-grade chromoly steel pipes, guaranteeing first-rate quality. The WP mono-shock and the 35mm Marzocchi USD front fork add to the professional performance. The suspension is adjustable for individual riders and changing track conditions. Countless world championship winning KTM bikes were used as prototypes for the bodywork, seat line, footrests and handlebars of the 65 SX – the first choice for future champions.

The Moto GP 2 stroke era finally ends.
Thu, 04 Oct 2012It might have been the fumes of the 40:1 fuel mix but I had a tear in my eye when the chequered flag came out for the last ever competitive two stroke race in the Moto GP paddock on Sunday at Aragon. With two riders on the sick list twenty two identical single cylinder KTM 125s buzzed round for fifteen laps of mayhem and sometimes eight abreast heading into the first and last corners. The sight, sound and smell were fantastic and the clean close racing was a fitting end to a very special era.
WSB, Nobby Ueda and my KTM RC8R
Tue, 15 May 2012WSB last weekend at Donington Park, once again delivered some amazing racing but I'm not sure what Leon Haslam has to do to get that first victory on the BMW. He looked the strongest prospect for the win in race one until Marco Melandri appeared to brake a tad early at the Esses sending the Pocket Rocket across the gravel. I really believe it was a case of innocent victims though at the last corner on the last lap in race two.
