Motorcycle Stability Control Retrofit Now Available for 2013 KTM 1190 Adventure

As promised, KTM has made available the new Motorcycle Stability Control system as a retrofit kit for 2013 1190 Adventure and Adventure R models. The 1190 Adventure models are the first motorcycles to be equipped with the MSC system from Bosch. MSC works with the 1190′s combined antilock braking and traction control systems, allowing both rider assist aids even when leaned over.

2012 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Class Nominees Announced

The American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation released its list of nominees for the AMA Hall of Fame Museum induction class of 2012. The 26 nominees represents a wide range of contributions to motorcycling, from motocross champions and Daytona 200 winners to tuners to motorcycle rights advocates. The selection committee will further trim the list down to six individuals, three from competition categories and three from non-competition categories.

Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.
