2012 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition – Ryan Dungey Replica Announced
Thu, 05 Jan 2012Days before the start of the 2012 AMA Supercross season and Ryan Dungey’s debut on the 450 SX-F, KTM has unveiled the production version of the motocrosser featuring a new engine and chassis. The 2012 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition is equipped with a fuel-injected 449cc four-stroke engine paired with a five-speed transmission. The new engine has a 95mm bore and a 63.4mm stroke, compared to the previous version’s 97mm x 60.8mm engine.
2013 KTM Freeride 350 Gets CARB and EPA Approval
Wed, 20 Mar 2013The KTM Freeride 350 has cleared emission certification testing in the U.S. including the state of California, getting approval from both the Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board. A leaked powerpoint slide from KTM’s North American dealer meeting in 2011, listed the Freeride 350 for 2013 and they may still happen.
Why KTM's sport 350 is a good idea
Wed, 10 Aug 2011KTM were unlucky when their plans were leaked (for covert market research?). Amongst those listed was the forecast for a Moto3 350. Now it is unlikely that the Moto3 class is going to grow from 250 to 350 by 2014, unless KTM are aware of something that the MotoGP rule-makers aren't.
