2009 KTM 505 XCF, This bike was originally purchased in May of 2010. It has been well maintained. The oil and filter were changed every other ride. The air filter was changed every ride.Valves have only needed to be adjusted once and after the engine broke in they have been in spec. It has been raced in 2 enduros and 3 Hare Scrambles. About 60Hrs on bike. The bike is in great shape and loaded with extras.   KTM has revealed a new lightweight entry-level off-road model with a claimed weight of just 99 kg (218 pounds). Set to debut at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, the 2012 KTM Freeride 350 was created as an introductory model for off-road enduro riding. The Freeride 350 offers an easier entry point to off-road riding than the company’s competition-based EXC line.

Bajaj Increases Stake in KTM

India’s Bajaj Auto has acquired an additional 6.3% stake in KTM, raising its share of the Austrian manufacturer to 47%. According to Economic Times, Bajaj purchased the latest 6.3% through a Netherlands-based subsidiary. Bajaj first acquired a portion KTM in 2007, purchasing a 14.5% stake.

NHTSA Launches Recall Look-up by VIN Tool

The U.S. Department of Transportation and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have launched a new free online tool that should make it easier for consumers to inspect their vehicles’ safety recall histories. The new search tool, available at http://www.safercar.gov/vinlookup, allows people to look for recall campaigns by entering Vehicle Identification Numbers.
