KTM Other description
We have an all stock 2009 ktm 50sx jr for sale. It's in awesome condition. Not raced!!! Still has stock tires / chain and sprockets on it that are close to new. We have taken very good care of this bike as my son has only ridden it a hand full of times. Starts right up and runs just like it should. Oil changed every ride (KTM says that's best for these little bikes). We have all the paper work including everything from KTM. Selling because he is getting to big for this model. Time to fork out $4500 for the 50 sr. Please don't waste my time or yours. No low ballers, no flakes and no trades!!! 2024 KTM 890 SMT Review
Thu, 01 Aug 2024The love child of a Duke and Adventure – that oddly works Photos by Edward Narraca. If ever there was an oxymoron in motorcycling, it’s the term “SuperMoto Touring,” and yet here it is, emblazoned on the side of this orange machine. Supermoto evokes images of dirt bikes on slick tires, being hucked sideways into corners.
Movie: The John Penton Story
Wed, 06 Mar 2013John Penton was one of the most influential figures in the development of off-road motorcycle racing in America during the 1960s and ’70s. His life’s story is triumphant and tragic. When his attempts to convince Husqvarna to produce a smaller, lighter motorcycle fell on deaf ears, Penton created his own design and commissioned KTM, a small moped and bicycle maker in Austria, to build it. The motorcycle was an instant success in off-road competition and led KTM to expand its efforts in the motorcycle realm, initially in conjunction with Penton and ultimately on its own.
Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
