KTM Other description

Immaculate 2008 KTM RC8 Limited Edition. This was a limited production motorcycle for 2008 designed  to compete specifically with Ducati Superbikes for the street enthusiast market. It is Number 50 of 50 produced that year and I have documentation to prove it. The bike features aftermarket HID headlights and rear fender eliminator kit. I have  rear fender also included. The seat is custom very nicely done by Saddlemen. Everything else is STOCK. This Bike cost approximately $20,000 new in 2008 and worth every penny! This is a real deal track ready road race bike with lights and a horn. The sound this thing makes is like none other. This bike has never been tracked used on street only. Have all manuals and keys. It currently has approximately 8750 miles and is currently off road due to replacing it with a new bike. I purchased this bike from the original owner, an forty something year old and I am in my fifties so it was never abused . You will not find a better example of an RC8, it is truly in mint condition as is all my bikes and cars. I am selling due to purchasing a real nice HD which is more to my riding style these days. I am not interested in any trades. This bike is for sale locally. All other potential buyers will have to make their own shipping arrangements. I will be available to assist shipper. Rok Bagoros' stunt KTM 690 Duke

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

KTM's official stunt rider Rok Bagoros has stepped up from his 125 Duke to this factory prepared 690 Duke. However, as seen in this video, his first test on the bike hasn't been plain sailing. Chatting with me about his new bike this morning, Rok said: "The 690 Duke goes like a rocket in comparison to a Japanese bike, it has a lot of torque and really good power in the low revs." When asked about his first ride on the 690 Duke, after being at home with the 125cc machine in his stunt shows over the past year, he added: "I have to really respect this bike, because it throws me around like a mad bull.

Dainese Reveals D-Air Racing Thorax

Wed, 04 Sep 2013

Dainese has revealed a new version of its airbag protection system for racers that adds protection to a rider’s chest named the D-Air Thorax. Like the D-Air Street, the Thorax uses an airbag that inflates upon a collision to protect the collarbone and torso, but has a more ergonomic design to suit a racer’s compact riding posture. The shoulder protection has also changed from the original D-Air Racing design, covering more of the shoulders’ sides as well as the collarbone area.
