FOR SALE: 2008 KTM 250SX runs well, very fast & has lots of power. It has a lot of aftermarket and extra parts, including FMF fatty pipe, turbine core spark arrested silencer, titanium two race silencer and stock silencer, misc. jets and power valve springs, moose racing bark buster hand guards, KTM racing handlebar pad, moose front fork air bleeders, KTM quarter turn aluminum gas cap, stock and oversized gas tanks, aftermarket KTM triple clamps, WP Suspension, Hydraulic clutch, Factory Effex TC4 traction control seat cover, MSR Hydraulic clutch guard, Pro taper pillow top grips, iridium spark plug, brake saver, bolt pack, ASV F1 forged flex clutch lever, triangle and lift stand. Good maintenance, air filter every ride, oil changed regularly. Bike was gone through last winter (2012/2013) and was not rode very much this summer. According to the hour meter the following parts only have ten hours: Wiesco high performance forged piston, clutch basket, center hub, steel disks & fiber plates, seals and oil in front forks, rear brake rotor, rear tire. $3,500.00 Obo or possible trade for 2004 to 2006 ski doo rev 600 or 08 or newer 600cc + snowmobile. Day 3 Dakar 2014: Barreda Maintains Overall Lead, Despres Catches Up
Tue, 07 Jan 2014Joan Barreda won his second special stage this year and now boasts a lead of more than 13 minutes over Cyril Despres and Marc Coma, the two other beneficiaries of a particularly decisive stage. Today’s stage, part one of the first marathon stage with no team service, was characterized by the highest ever racing altitude in Dakar history. Facing the 22,841 foot summit of the Aconcagua, South America´s highest mountain, the motorcycle riders had to cross a pass over 14,107 feet in elevation in trial-like conditions.
2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R Revealed
Wed, 19 Sep 2012When news broke yesterday of leaked details of the new 2013 KTM 1190 Adventure, the first question that crossed our minds was “when do we find out about the R version?” The answer, it turns out, is today, with a new photograph of the 1190 Adventure R now surfacing. Members of ADVForum, where we found the original leaked KTM brochure, have uncovered new a studio photo of the R model as well as the non-R version. The 2013 KTM 1190 Adventure R is equipped with larger wheels than the base model, likely a 21-inch wheel up front and an 18-inch wheel at the rear (the non-R 1190 Adventure appears to sport a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel.) We are surprised the tires appear to be street tires and not knobby off-road rubbers.
EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 KTM Freeride 350 – Lightweight Entry Level Enduro Bike

Set to debut at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan, Italy, the 2012 KTM Freeride 350 was created as an introductory model for off-road enduro riding. The Freeride 350 offers an easier entry point to off-road riding than the company’s competition-based EXC line.
