Selling an excellent 2008 250sx-f. It was bought new from Larson's cycle in Cambridge the spring 2010. I have since ridden it mostly on state DNR trails as well as a buddy's cabin. Has not been ridden hard at all, seeing as I'm just a beginner. I had intentions of keeping this bike my entire life, so it has been well taken care of with regular maintenance including a fresh air filter after every ride, oil changes with genuine Motorex oil every five hours, etc. It only has circa 25 hours on it, I have barely started to wear the stock sprockets. Great bike for anyone looking for the jack-of-all-trades. Would work very well on a track, and I can say from 1st hand experience it's very capable in the woods. “PENTON: The John Penton Story” Trailer + Video
Fri, 18 Apr 2014Fans of off-road racing will be happy to hear that after nearly six years, the public can see a sneak peak of the film “PENTON: The John Penton Story” with the newly released trailer featuring John Penton, his hall of fame family and a few of the motorcycle industry legends that were interviewed for the film. The nearly four-minute trailer teases the entire film and specific stories the audience will get to see in the final film when it opens in theaters on June 20th. Scored by the film’s composer and music editor Chris Brady, the trailer features: John Penton along with his sons Jack, Jeff and Tom.
KTM Announces 2013 Factory Team, Bids Farewell to Cyril Despres
Tue, 12 Mar 2013(ED: Updated with a message from Cyril Despres.) KTM introduced its 2013 Rally Racing team while bidding farewell to five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres. Despres won all five of his Dakar victories with KTM, winning in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013. He leaves the team to pursue a new challenge, with Honda rumored to be seeking his services for its newly-revived rally racing program.
2012 KTM 690 Duke Lighter and More Powerful – But Won’t Be Coming Here
Wed, 31 Aug 2011The good news KTM is updating its 690 Duke naked standard for 2012. The bad news is KTM has pulled the Duke lineup from its North American offerings. Britain’s MCN was given a test ride on a prototype of the 2012 KTM 690 Duke and revealed some of the updates.
