Day 7 Dakar 2014: Barreda Wins Another

After a day of rest, Sunday’s stage seven was characterized by rain during the night and a new Dakar country – Bolivia. After an early start at 4:30 in the morning, the first 62 miles of the special stage into Bolivia had to be shortened due to rain and poor visibility, low-hanging clouds that prevented the helicopters from taking off creating security issues. The route led across the Andes and towards the Bolivian border.

Of the bikes that we saw at the EICMA show it wasn’t an electronically supported sports bike or a unique and genre-defining muscle machine that were impressive, but the host of learner friendly 125 singles and in particular the KTM 125 Duke. Ryan Dungey to Miss Daytona Supercross Round

Ryan Dungey will skip the Daytona round of the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship following surgery to repair a broken collarbone. The Red Bull KTM factory rider injured the collarbonein a crash during training ahead of last weekend’s St. Louis round.
