Very Clean Very Fast Excellent running 50!! Nevada Title and Registration til june 2014 in my name in hand. Bought this for my kid 6 mnths ago with the intent of him learning to ride. Too fast for him. Gonna try a quad instead. Bikes been started every week for last six months. Bought it from original owner who said this was his sons backup bike, light use, and that the bike is setup and ready to race. The good news KTM is updating its 690 Duke naked standard for 2012. The bad news is KTM has pulled the Duke lineup from its North American offerings. Britain’s MCN was given a test ride on a prototype of the 2012 KTM 690 Duke and revealed some of the updates.

Day 6 Dakar 2014: Duclos Wins Stage, Palante Found Dead

Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.

KTM Ready to Race Again, Entering Moto3 Class in 2012

KTM announced it will return to Grand Prix road racing in 2012 with a new racebike for the new 250cc four-stroke Moto3 class. The Austrian manufacturer discontinued its Grand Prix road racing program in 2009, withdrawing from the 125cc class (pictured above is current Moto2 racer Marc Marquez racing for the KTM factory team in the 2009 125cc class). With the Moto3 class set to replace the 125cc class in 2012, KTM will return with a new racebike.
