This auction is for a 2007 KTM Super Duke 990, it has just over 12,000 miles. The miles will increase slightly as I ride this any chance I can. Its in excellent shape and is a lot of fun to ride with the upright riding position and the torquey V-twin engine. The bike has a few mods, Leo Vince slip ons, rear fender eliminator, moto hooligan air injection block offs, ECU flash, shorty levers, windscreen and LED headlight. The valves were checked at around 11k miles. This bike is not an R model, at some point someone had the frame powder coated orange and they did a very nice job, looks like factory. The tires are good, should last at least another full season. The only issue I've noticed with the bike is at low speed braking I can feel one of the front rotors is out of round and will need to be replaced. This has a clean/clear title, no leins. WSB last weekend at Donington Park, once again delivered some amazing racing but I'm not sure what Leon Haslam has to do to get that first victory on the BMW. He looked the strongest prospect for the win in race one until Marco Melandri appeared to brake a tad early at the Esses sending the Pocket Rocket across the gravel. I really believe it was a case of innocent victims though at the last corner on the last lap in race two.

2013 Dakar Rally Route Announced

The 2013 Dakar Rally will again be held in South America with event organizers announcing a new route for the 34th running of the off-road race. Now in its fifth year in Latin America, the 2013 edition of the Rally will feature a new route running from north to south, starting Jan. 5 in Lima, Peru, and ending Jan.

2023 KTM 890 SMT to be Revealed April 24

KTM confirmed it will reveal a new 890 SMT model, adding a new supermoto-inspired middleweight sport-tourer to its 2023 lineup. Spy photos of a prototype popped up last October and again in January, and we now know the new SMT will be revealed on April 24. The last model to bear the name was the 990 SMT, which was discontinued in 2013.
