KTM Other description

Good price on a very low mileage street legal dual sport bike. Electric starter, after-market options include: larger size tank, skid plate and moose racing hand guard protection. Superb condition! Versatile enough to be pre-owned as a commuter bike with street tires. I pre-owned the bike as an off road trail bike - lots of fun to ride Call or text for additional info and pictures.

Josh Hayes Wins Fourth AMA Superbike Title

Thu, 18 Sep 2014

Say what you will about the depleted state of the American roadracing scene, it shouldn’t diminish the fact Hayes put in the effort and beat some formidable challengers to the title. Here, the AMA congratulates Josh Hayes on his accomplishment. Monster Energy Graves Yamaha’s Josh Hayes entered the 2013 AMA Pro SuperBike season on the heels of the most dominant campaign in the history of the series and with his primary threat no longer in the paddock.

It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.

2022 KTM 1290 Super Duke R EVO First Look

Tue, 16 Nov 2021

The KTM 1290 Super Duke R is getting a new EVO variant for 2022, adding semi-active suspension to what was already a very potent package. As we discussed in our 2021 Heavyweight Naked Bike Spec Shootout, the 1290 Super Duke R (along with the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS) is one of the few bikes in the comparison that does not offer some form of electronic suspension. That’s going to be rectified with the new 1290 Super Duke R EVO which receives a next-generation WP APEX semi-active suspension.
