This is a 2006 KTM 525 EXC which is titled, registered and plated in my name. It has 2000 miles on it and 77 hours on a complete Thumper Racing built 570 engine. It has premium pump gas friendly 12.5 to 1 compression, trail ported head, plated cylinder, 833 KTM cam, bored carb with a dual spray accelerator pump and modified emulsion tube. Jetted perfectly for sea level. This thing absolutely rips! Over 3 and 1/2 turns of valve adjustment left. Head was rebuilt with long lasting, stainless Kibblewhite valves.
This bike has electric and kick start. A combination Baja Designs and Trailtech dual sport kit. It has a high watt Trailtech stator for all the electric power you would need. Trailtech headlight with high and low beam. Brake light switches on both front and rear brakes. Baja design switch and signals and rear tail and brake light. Aftermarket Pro Moto Billet kick stand. Billet KTM oil filter covers. Devon radiator guards. Wide foot pegs. Rental 1 inch rise handlebars. Near new D.O.T. legal Dunlop D606 tires which are balanced. MXC 3.2 gallon fuel tank. Seat concepts MXC seat which matches lines of MXC tank. I have a KTM aluminum skid plate which is not on the bike at the moment. Has fresh oil, coolant and recent valve adjustment. Has KTM cooling fan, Cycra hand guards, aftermarket chain guard. Comes with original binder with some service records and manuals. Also includes 5 sets of oil filters, tool kit and has a Shorei Lithium Ion battery and charger. I have had the bike a year and a half and have ridden it an hour. Had another hip replacement and am done with it. The 2006 and 2007 bikes are very desirable as they have a stronger crankshaft. The 07 came from the factory street legal but are hard to find and pricey when you do find one. This bike is street titled with a GA title in my name. I work 7 months a year here on the Island. I will be heading back to GA on Monday so if bike doesn't sell before then, it will go back with me. I am asking what I paid for it. Makes for a great dual sport as it is very light and very powerful but has electric start. Bike is as clean as can be and shifts through the gears perfectly. Erik Buell Racing 1190RS and KTM RC8R Make AMA Superbike Debuts
Mon, 11 Jul 2011The July 8-10 Mid-Ohio round of the 2011 AMA Superbike series featured the debut of two new superbikes, the Erik Buell Racing 1190RS and the KTM RC8R Race Spec. Chris Fillmore (11) finished an impressive seventh place in a red-flagged Race One for KTM-HMC Racing while Geoff May (99) placed eleventh on the Amsoil EBR 1190RS. The second race saw both riders finish in the top ten with Fillmore in ninth and May in the ten spot.

On first glance the 125 Duke looks wild with the token angular bodywork that befits the company’s overall styling cues and the bike was swamped with enamoured gazes from all ages – in particular an Italian father and son who spent well over 10 minutes looking over every inch of the lil’ Duke with mouth-watering anticipation. The three colour options are ideal for the teenage crowd that KTM are trying to attract with this bike.

Thu, 07 Mar 2024We’ve officially entered into the world of the ridiculous Photos by Francesc Montero and Sebas Romero There’s only so much you can learn about a motorcycle after getting about four laps on a racetrack you haven’t seen in a decade. Factor in the cold conditions, a brand new, race-compound rear tire, and no tire warmers, and you can basically throw away any sort of authoritative impressions about the bike. Oh, and did I mention the bike in question is the 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke R EVO and the racetrack was the ultra-tricky Almeria circuit?
