KTM Other description

Well cared for Supermoto. If your looking at this you know what this motorcycle is capable of. Motor has been de-restricted, new starter clutch, Michelin pilot in great shape on the front, brand new Dunlop Q3 rear, and Vapor speedometer. This is not a new motorcycle, it does have a few flaws but is in great shape. Pictures show scratches on caliper side rear wheel, scratch in plastic left side panel, plastic from boot on left side exhaust. The headlight also has some damage to the inside where bulb came loose, does not effect the functionality. The valve cover oil leak, common on this model LC4 engine, has also been fixed.
Tons of fun, you won't be disappointed.
$500 due at end of auction, will deliver up to 100 miles from Jacksonville for the price of fuel.
I do reserve the right to end the auction early.

2014 MotoGP Qatar in Pictures

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

The opening round of the 2014 MotoGP season is complete, and if the Grand Prix of Qatar is any indication, it looks like it’ll be an interesting season. If you haven’t yet, read up on the recap for the Qatar MotoGP race for the details on what transpired at Losail International Circuit in Doha. Here then are some of the (mostly spoiler-free) photographs from the Grand Prix of Qatar, including images from the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 classes.

KTM Presents 250cc Moto3 Engine

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

KTM revealed its new 250cc four-stroke engine that will be used in the Moto3 World Championship which is set to replace the 125cc class in 2012. The single cylinder engine is all new and not a repurposed motor from KTM‘s 250cc offroad engine portfolio and is said to weigh just 55 pounds. Official specs were not released, but Moto3 regulations dictate a maximum bore of 81mm, a rev limit of 14,000rpm.

A postcard from Moto GP Jerez

Fri, 04 May 2012

If the weather over the Jerez Moto GP weekend was dull then the atmosphere in the press room was the complete opposite.  After the carnage and chaos during the Moto 3 race, the amazing Romano Fenati (in only his second GP) had the Italian journalists celebrating as he crossed the line to win. I smiled as they simultaneously began singing ‘Y Viva Espana’ as if to signify the end of Spanish dominance in the junior GP class.
