2005 KTM Smr 525, Selling my 2005 KTM SMR supermoto street legal dirt bike. I have the clean title in hand. This bike will flat out smoke any of the stock DRZ supermotos out there! I really hate to sell this but Im starting a business and could use the cash for more responsible things. Less than 850 miles. It is really just like new! This bike started out as a supermoto its not a hodgepodge of parts like some of the supermotos out there. I am the second owner. All books and manuals will be included. 540 cc Big bore completed at about 500 miles. only 350 miles on new cylinder and piston. Giant wave front rotor. Baja Designs headlight Braided stainless brake lines. Just put new KTM titanium values in. ($1000 with receipts.) aftermarket Lynx speedometer. Mileage is not accurate but as far as I know there are less than 850 miles on the bike. Electric and kick start. I also have some other accessories for it like a carbon skid plate, grips extra turn signal and a few other things. This bike doesn't need anything other than a good rider that can handle the power. KTM Reports 2011 Results

KTM reported a 22.4% increase in worldwide motorcycle sales in 2011, raking in a net profit of 20.7 million euros. According to KTM‘s year-end fiscal report, the Austrian company sold 81,200 units in 2011, compared to 66,327 units in 2010. KTM attributes the gains to the launch of its latest EXC off-road competition lineup and the entry-level 125 Duke.

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.

EICMA 2012: KTM Unleashes the Beast with 1290 Super Duke R Prototype

Last week, KTM teased its new large-displacement naked prototype, revealing a brief glimpse and an audio recording of the engine on the so-called “beast”. KTM has now revealed the beast, presenting the new 1290 Super Duke R prototype at the 2012 EICMA Show in Milan, Italy. Due to launch some time in 2013, the KTM 1290 Super Duke R will top a full line of naked Duke models which includes the 125, 200, newly revealed 390, 690 and 990.
