KTM Other description

Up for sale is a very clean, rare 05 Ktm 625 smc. If you're seriously looking at this bike it dosen't need a long introduction, but if you're not fimiliar...it has Brembo brakes, braided lines, WP suspension, Keihin FCR carb premium laced wheels, and many other high end features straight from the factory. The bike was dynoed at 59rwhp by the previous owner. The marks you see on the right hand guard, slight rash on the right pipe endcap, and the small mark on the radiator guard are only imperfections to speak of and were from him tipping it over in his driveway. It has the KTM aftermarket airbox cover, exhaust has been uncorked and a JD jet kit. I have added a set of billet mirrors, billet gas cap, custom carbon fiber plate/signal bracket and had the seat reshaped by Fisher's for all day riding comfort. If you own a supermoto or enduro style bike with an uncomforable stock seat, Fisher's saddlebags does awesome work. The quality is beautiful, service is great, and the comfort of the seat can't be compared to the original.  These bikes are an absolute blast to ride and are very hard to find. This one is very dependable and has never been abused. The owner I purchased it from put most all the miles on the bike and he was in his late 50s. This KTM will blow your average DRZ away in every way. Bike is ready to rock, has appx. 300 mi. on fresh oil change, good front tire, rear tire will last this season (both Contiforce SM) and it comes with a sevice manual. There are no rear signals on the bike. The previous owner removed them and I never put a set back on. Pease ask questions before bidding and feel free to message me for my number if you want to chat about the bike. Thanks for looking!

2014 AMA Supercross – St. Louis Results

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

Don’t look now, but James Stewart is the hottest rider in the AMA Supercross Championship. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider won his third consecutive race and series-leading fifth victory of the season. But with Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto holding a comfortable lead with four rounds remaining, Stewart’s hot streak may be too little too late.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Tue, 09 Oct 2012

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
