KTM Other description

2004 Ktm 625 SXC with 2,900mis. This street legal Dual Sport is ready to go. California plates, LED turn signals, spark arrestor, skid plate, hand guards, brake snake, coolant catch tank, fork bleeders, KTM bar riser, and Big Gun ceramic coated pipe. This year differs from three with a change to the Keihn Pumper Carb. Much better response off road. SXC was only sold in three and 04. Research at Ktm talk forum and you will find this bike is considered 1 of the best dual sports ever made. I have 2 of them and also owned two 640 Duke IIs with the LC4 motor and have never had a problem with any of them. Add a supermoto wheel set up and you would have 2 bikes in one. I will also include a pair of Shinko dual sport tires that have a more street style tread than most. The subframe on the SXC will also accept the KTM mounts for side cases and tail rack. Rejetted with main, pilot, and needle to avoid the lean stock jetting from bluing pipes or burning valves. 61yr old owner. New AGM battery. Driveway pics taken 11/13. Not even dings in the rims. If you have to make a drive to see it you will not be surprised or disappointed. If a 625 SXC is the bike you have been looking for, you won't go home empty handed.

RSVP from an RSV4

Wed, 08 Sep 2010

Aprilia’s RSV4 Factory has to be one of the most interesting and adrenaline-inducing literbikes around, and that’s just part of why we gave it an Honorable Mention in our Best of 2010 Sportbike category. We recently had opportunity to put on a poor but passing Max Biaggi imitation with one particularly fine example. This RSV comes courtesy of our friend Kaming Ko, who often helps us on test rides.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.
