KTM Other description
Up for auction is a 1997 KTM duke 620cc supermoto. Don't let her age fool you. This motorcycle is very competitive still to this day. Included as standard equipment are:
Liquid Cooled, four stroke, single Cylinder. SOHC, 4 Valve per cylinder,
Front Suspension: White Power 4054 RO/Top Adjuster
142mm wheel travel
Rear suspension: White Power monoshock 4681 BAVP Single Adjuster 170 mm wheel travel
Front brakes: Brembo Single 320mm disc Brembo 4 piston caliper
Rear brakes: Brembo Single 220mm disc Brembo 1 piston caliper
Dry Weight: 145 kg
Avg MPG: 37
Braking 100-0: 118 ft
1/4 mile time: 13.1
As you can see by today's standards this motorcycle is still be very competitive. There are basically three things this bike is good for. 1) wheelies. With her light weight and large front forks wheelies do not put any stress on the suspension unlike newer/heavier motorcycles. 2) Running a curvy road. This motorcycle has been through Deal's Gap AKA The Tail of the Dragon so many times I have lost count. 3) Sliding through gears. You will go through gears FAST. She likes to be rode fast.
The following modifications have been made.
Michelin Pilot Powers front and rear
Kiehin FCR41
Aftermarket KTM supermoto pipe
Re jetted Carb on dyno
The reason I am selling her is that I no longer have a good place to ride. I live in VA on the Eastern Shore and there is a lack of any curvy roads. It breaks my heart to have to sell her. The motorcycle is located in Knoxville, TN. If you want more pictures and any more info please feel free to email me.
