1981 KTM 420 MC80
The bike runs perfect and shifts through all gears flawlessly. If you've ever wanted one of these this one has all of the hassle taken out of it. Rebuilt and ready to put on the track. There are two tarnished areas with some light surface rust near the foot peg area on each side(shown in the pictures). Frame has been sitting for a while since it was plated. I will not crate or disassemble the bike for shipping. Bike is ready for pickup at my location or I can deliver in the Washington DC area. Can also deliver to the York Swap Meet in January. Overseas buyers you would be responsible for having the bike picked up, crated, and all paperwork taken care of. Reserve is very fair for a bike this rare. Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
2012 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition – Ryan Dungey Replica Announced
Thu, 05 Jan 2012Days before the start of the 2012 AMA Supercross season and Ryan Dungey’s debut on the 450 SX-F, KTM has unveiled the production version of the motocrosser featuring a new engine and chassis. The 2012 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition is equipped with a fuel-injected 449cc four-stroke engine paired with a five-speed transmission. The new engine has a 95mm bore and a 63.4mm stroke, compared to the previous version’s 97mm x 60.8mm engine.
Duke-Based 2015 200 KTM Supermoto Spied
Wed, 11 Dec 2013KTM is following-up its small-displacement naked Duke and RC sportbike models with a new line of supermotos based off of the same platform. As with the Duke and RC models, we should expect KTM to offer supermotos in 125, 200 and 390 versions, all sharing similar engines and frames. A test mule of what appears to be a KTM 125 or 200 Supermoto prototype was spotted fueling up somewhere in Europe and from the photograph (see below for a larger version) above we can see a swingarm, ten-spoke wheels and trellis frame that appear identical to those on the Duke.
