This listing is for a 1974 KTM 420 barn find. For the most part the bike is all there. This bike has excellent compression. The story behind the bike was that it was running when put away 4 years ago. It was kept in someone's basement for the time. It is missing a shifter and one of the rear shocks. The forks or triples are not cracked which KTM is known for. The frame isn't bent, cracked, or repaired. Both tires hold air and have decent thread. Looks like it needs a new kill switch. The penultimate day of Dakar 2014 saw a dramatic change in the overall standings which could make for an exciting final stage tomorrow. Today, however, Yamaha Factory Racing rider Cyril Despres took his second special stage win of 2014 and his 33rd career win for Dakar. Coma, despite taking a 15 minute penalty, finished second for the day, maintaining his overall lead.

Enduro Legend Juha Salminen Announces Retirement

Finnish racer Juha Salminen announced his retirement from racing at the end of the 2013 World Enduro Championship, capping off a career that included 13 world championships and a record 96 World Enduro Championship wins. Only the great Giacomo Agostini holds more individual motorcycle racing world titles than Salminen with 15. “Enduro as a sport has given me a lot, but now it is time to move on to new challenges.
