    This bike is an original 1997 Honda CR 500 it has not been modified or abused, the engine and running gear are all that came with the bike, the bike has really low hours considering the age of the unit. It has been very well maintained, the original owner only rode the bike once, not being a very good rider suffered a broken wrist and stored the bike.The motorcycle is extremely fast and is not recommended for a novice rider.The bike has some miner cosmetic issues 2 small dents in the exhaust, miner wear on the side case next to the rear brake pedal, and small repair to the seat cover.The unit will be sold as local pickup only,the buyer can make arrangements for pickup. But before we bid it farewell, we put it up against some of its European contemporaries in a good old fashioned MO shootout.

2023 KTM RC 8C Review

It had been quite a while since I last rode a multi-cylinder KTM on a racetrack – all the way back to 2011 and the Red Bull-sponsored factory RC8R 1200cc V-twin on which Martin Bauer was victorious in that year’s IDM German Superbike Championship, with teammate Stefan Nebel third. That was a key moment in the Austrian dirtbike specialist’s climb up the ladder to equal status with the likes of Honda and Ducati in the road racing pantheon, and showed that orange was a color to be reckoned with on-road as well as off it. KTM invited Alan Cathcart to join 30 customers to pick up their new RC 8Cs in Valencia and hobnob with the likes of Jeremy McWilliams, Mika Kallio, and Brad Binder.
