SELLING: My 2012 KTM 500EXC. This terrific bike has just over 1400 miles. It's been well maintained and has brand new set of Dunlop 606 tires and a new battery.
Among the few tasteful upgrades are FMF Q4 exhaust, Ohlins Steering Dampener, Billet Kickstand, Aluminum skid plate and Factory hand guards. I've also added an Acerbis oversized fuel tank that adds and extra gallon. There are normal signs of use for a 4 year old bike such as scuffs on the hand guards and plastics, but it's always been respectfully ridden and never abused. I'm a 50 year old rider with a bad wrist, which is the reason I've decided to sell it. Bike comes with a clean Florida Title, two sets of keys and factory manual. The KTM Brabus 1300 R is naturally based on the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO supernaked and equipped with a V-twin LC8 engine with a volume of 1301 cm³, giving 180 hp and 140 Nm of torque.The motorcycle received a new and fairly recognizable body kit, new optics, unique forged 9-spoke Monoblock Z wheels, a direct-flow exhaust, a custom-made heated seat and the mass of milled elements.The KTM Brabus 1300 R 2022 will be produced in the amount of 154 pieces (77 for each color) and is estimated by the manufacturer at 39500 ˆ. Only Europeans and South Africans will be able to order the novelty.
KTM Reports 2011 Results
Fri, 17 Feb 2012KTM reported a 22.4% increase in worldwide motorcycle sales in 2011, raking in a net profit of 20.7 million euros. According to KTM‘s year-end fiscal report, the Austrian company sold 81,200 units in 2011, compared to 66,327 units in 2010. KTM attributes the gains to the launch of its latest EXC off-road competition lineup and the entry-level 125 Duke.
