THIS IS A KTM 65 SX, I BOUGHT THIS ON A SALE AND IT DOES NOT HAVE ANY SPARK, I DID GET A SPARE STATOR FOR IT BUT IT WAS A USED ONE AND STILL DOES NOT HAVE SPARK. THE BIKE IS IN OK SHAPE, A LITTLE SCRATCHED UP. IT DOES HAVE GOOD COMPRESSION AND A NEW CARB ON IT. THE STICKER IS STARTING TO COME OFF SO I CANT READ THE WHOLE VIN NUMBER. NOT SURE OF THE YEAR. 2014 AMA Supercross – Seattle Results

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
