2013 Long Beach International Motorcycle Show Report

After feasting from a continental breakfast buffet the discerning journalists set to the task of reporting on the bounty of new model motorcycles – most of which has been previously showcased in our November EICMA reporting. EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 KTM 690 Duke
Mon, 31 Oct 2011KTM has released a video teasing its redesigned 690 Duke, which is set to make its debut at the 2011 EICMA show. The 2012 690 Duke will be powered by what KTM claims is the world’s most powerful Single-cylinder engine in production, with output expected to be close to 70hp. Updates include a side-mounted exhaust instead of the previous version’s underslung silencer, ABS, ride-by-wire throttle and weight savings from a new manufacturing process for the structural fairing and subframe.
Yoshimura adds KTM Super Duke to it's aftermarket line-up
Mon, 26 Apr 2010Yoshimura have released a set of exhaust cans for the KTM Super Duke. The RS-3C slip-on is described as a new design for the slip-on end can, based on the traditional oval can but with carbon fibre coned end-caps incorporated. There is a considerable increase in performance over the standard can.
