KTM SX description

My younger son started off on a Yamaha TTR90 and his 2nd bike was the  KTM SX65, bought  in 2010; which bike he rode  for the next 4 years, when he started riding a Honda CRF 150.
The KTM is a great 2nd stage bike with a clutch for a young rider. Its not a beginner's bike since it has a clutch and for its size has a nice amount of power. Its a 2 stroke and leaks oil but starts up and runs. Have changed the oil and the spark plug regularly and have had it serviced by a dealer for brakes, carburetor  and tires.

KTM Remembers Kurt Caselli – Video

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

The sudden and tragic death of Kurt Caselli during this year’s Baja 1000 has had a big impact on the motorcycle community. An immensely talented competitor and champion, Caselli was a rising star in his prime and was destined for greatness. A three-time AMA Hare & Hound champion, WORCS champion, and ISDE gold medalist, Caselli even won a two stages in the Dakar Rally in his first attempt last year.

My dream bike for 2013: The KTM 250GPR

Fri, 26 Oct 2012

I never really know when I’m asked what my dream bike would be but should Camelot shine on me this Saturday I know what I want at the moment, the KTM250GPR. At around £45,000 and with only 49bhp the Austrian firms over the counter Moto 3 racer for 2013 might not sound that appealing but I beg to differ. For starters they look stunning so I’d never get bored of looking at it in my garage but the technical spec and potential fun of taking one to a race track is what really turns me on. Far from being some motocross engine shoehorned into a steel trellis frame the 250GPR is just a small step down from Sandro Cortese’s world championship winning Moto 3 machine.
