NO RESERVE 2010 KTM RC8 Matte Orange/Black v-twin super bike with only 9530 miles (mileage may increase due to weather!!!!). I'm the second owner with clean and lien free title. Adult owner, never laid down and garaged kept. Recent maintenance within the past month: - Fresh Front and Rear Pirelli cosra tires - Motorex oil change with K&N oil filter (20 miles ago) - New EBC front brake pads - Front and Rear brake lines flushed and bleed with new DOT4 synthetic brake fluid Other upgrades: -K&N air filter -Tinted windscreen (factory screen will be part of sale) -KTM passenger seat delete grommets (passenger seat will be part of sale) -KTM tank pad - Bar end mirrors - Aftermarket front and rear LED turn signals - Adjustable RC8 black/orange anodized clutch and brake levers - Aftermarket license plate fender eliminator -Two Factory black keys, orange key are included along with the manual and tool kit. Suitable for enduro and adventure riders of all levels, the KTM Adventure Rally will tour the Taos ski valley area, but more importantly, it will allow riders to put themselves and their machines through their paces in some spectacular off-road environments. Professional KTM riders and racers will be on hand to offer tips and assistance to those who want it, and demo rides on both the KTM 1190 Adventure and 1190 Adventure R will be available.
KTM Presents 250cc Moto3 Engine
Thu, 06 Oct 2011KTM revealed its new 250cc four-stroke engine that will be used in the Moto3 World Championship which is set to replace the 125cc class in 2012. The single cylinder engine is all new and not a repurposed motor from KTM‘s 250cc offroad engine portfolio and is said to weigh just 55 pounds. Official specs were not released, but Moto3 regulations dictate a maximum bore of 81mm, a rev limit of 14,000rpm.
