The 2015 KTM Super Duke 1290 R is a Sport Style Motorcycle equipped with
an 1301cc, Liquid Cooled, V Twin, DOHC, 4-Stroke Engine and a 6-Speed
Manual Transmission.
It has a Inverted Fork Front Suspension while the Rear Suspension consists of a Single Sided Swing Arm. The Super Duke 1290 R has Front Dual Disc Brakes and Rear Disc Brakes. The Super Duke 1290 R weighs 417 lbs. and has 5.5 inches of ground clearance. The Super Duke 1290 R was introduced in 2014. It includes a 12 month Limited warranty. 2014 AMA Supercross – Phoenix Results
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto nabbed a hard-earned first victory of the 2014 AMA Supercross season, overcoming a poor start that saw him ninth after the first lap for the win. The three-time reigning champion found himself well back after the first corner as Yoshimura Suzuki‘s Jake Moss took the holeshot ahead of Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton and the KTM‘s Ryan Dungey. Brayton took over the lead by the second corner and would stay in front for the first 13 laps.
KTM 'RC640' Supermono
Mon, 28 Oct 2013I don't know much about this bike but I think it's based around a KTM LC4 640 engine. I stumbled across it while searching Google and thought it was worth sharing. It's a work of art and possibly an RC640, long before KTM had even thought of putting their engines into a sportsbike.
James Stewart Suspended After Positive Drug Test
Fri, 20 Jun 2014AMA Supercross and Motocross racer James Stewart has been provisionally suspended by the International Motorcycling Federation after a drug sample tested positive for amphetamines. The positive test was from the April 12 AMA Supercross round in Seattle. The three podium finishes in the 450 class in Seattle were tested.
