Up for sale is a 2015 KTM RC8R Supersport motorcycle. We are a multi-line motorcycle dealership, selling new BMW, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki motorcycles in addition to a few other brands. This one owner KTM
motorcycle was recently acquired in trade by our dealership. Our service department has performed an overall inspection & safety
check on this motorcycle, and everything is in good working condition.
This KTM RC8R belonged to a local Doctor who is over 65 years old & owns a collection of motorcycles. He is a regular client of our dealership for many years, and does all of his maintenance with us. We serviced this motorcycle for him over the past couple of seasons, and we even added the additional mirrors to the motorcycle per his request. The only other upgrade to this motorcycle is the comfortable aftermarket Corbin seat. Otherwise, this RC8R is all OEM and unmolested! This KTM has just over 4,284 miles and we hold a clean Massachusetts Title for this bike. This KTM RC8R engine starts easy, runs strong, transmission shifts through all the gears smoothly, so this motorcycle should bring the next owner many thousands of worry free miles. The Moto GP 2 stroke era finally ends.
Thu, 04 Oct 2012It might have been the fumes of the 40:1 fuel mix but I had a tear in my eye when the chequered flag came out for the last ever competitive two stroke race in the Moto GP paddock on Sunday at Aragon. With two riders on the sick list twenty two identical single cylinder KTM 125s buzzed round for fifteen laps of mayhem and sometimes eight abreast heading into the first and last corners. The sight, sound and smell were fantastic and the clean close racing was a fitting end to a very special era.
2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure Spied
Fri, 08 Aug 2014If you’ve been paying attention to our Motorcycle.com Best of 2014 awards, you’ll know the KTM 1290 Super Duke R took top honors in our Streetfighter/Hooligan class, and the 1190 Adventure was tied with the BMW R1200GS for the win in the Best On-Off-Road/Adventure category. Riding that wave of success, KTM appears ready give its adventure-tourer a significant upgrade that may give it the edge over the GS for next year’s MOBO awards. A new spy photo snapped on the set of a video shoot in Monaco by mentounasc, a member of the KTMMania.net forum, reveals a redesigned fairing and new badging identifying a motorcycle as a KTM 1290 Super Adventure.
EICMA 2011: KTM 690 Duke Unveiled
Wed, 09 Nov 2011First, the good news: KTM has taken the covers off the 690 Duke at the EICMA show in Milan this morning. The machine is almost entirely all-new from the ground up and, KTM says, brings the company back to its street bike beginnings. KTM’s venerable 690cc LC4 single-cylinder engine is the obvious choice for power, only now it puts out a claimed 70hp and 51 lbs.-ft.
