KTM Other description

In the three years since the revolutionary 350 SX-F has been introduced, this bike has proven that it is possible to win the MX1 World Championship even with reduced displacement. Since then, Tony Cairoli has clearly dominated the class with the 350 SX-F, and in 2013, the Italian once again bets on the ingenious combination of low-weight, playful agility and a high-revving engine. A unique recipe for success that benefits amateurs and pros alike.Highlights¿¿¿Cylinder Head: The DOHC cylinder head is distinguished by ports dimensioned for optimum gas flow that ensure a maximized cylinder charge. Ultra-lightweight titanium valves and DLC-coated followers allow engine speeds up to 13,000 rpm, as well as ensuring a spontaneous power delivery as well as a high maximum power very close to a 450.

2022 KTM 1290 Super Duke R EVO First Look

Tue, 16 Nov 2021

As we discussed in our 2021 Heavyweight Naked Bike Spec Shootout, the 1290 Super Duke R (along with the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS) is one of the few bikes in the comparison that does not offer some form of electronic suspension. That’s going to be rectified with the new 1290 Super Duke R EVO which receives a next-generation WP APEX semi-active suspension.

KTM Developing Faired and Touring Versions of 390 Duke

Mon, 03 Dec 2012

KTM has carved out a niche recently in the small-displacement streetbike market with its Duke lineup of naked motorcycles. First came the 125 Duke, then the 200 Duke, and more recently unveiled at EICMA, the 390 Duke, which we hope will be the first in the family to make it to the U.S. All three little Dukes have similar chassis and streetfighter styling, with the engine displacement being the main difference between them.
