KTM Other description
2013 Ktm 450 SX-F, Low Hours! Like New! - With the 450 SX‑F, KTM has a winning motorcycle in its range, which derives its potential from a high-capacity engine and a chassis perfectly tuned to the power unit. Ryan Dungey won the 2012 title in the AMA MX1 class with this machine and he saw no reason whatsoever to change bikes for his title defence. No wonder the compact SOHC engine guarantees brutal yet controllable power with its revolutionary injection technology. Above all, the 450 SX‑F scores highly compared with other large four-strokes in terms of performance and handling. Its the right choice for every motocross rider in the MX1 class for whom torque and performance combined with controllable rideability are pivotal. The KTM 450 SX-F has a push button electric start that will help in the heat of a race. The new 449cc engine comes with less weight and will require less maintenance but will not lack in power especially now that it is four pounds lighter in weight. This will give you better handling and greater vigor.

The Differences Between KTM’s Duke Engines
Fri, 25 Jan 2013KTM set a new company record with 107,142 motorcycles sold in 2012, with a lot of credit given to strong demand for its small-displacement naked Duke line. KTM will try to maintain its momentum with its new 390 Duke, not to mention the 690 Duke R and the upcoming 1290 Super Duke R which was unveiled in prototype form at the 2012 EICMA show in Milan as the eventual successor to the 990 Super Duke.
