2012 KTM 690 ENDURO R, 2012 KTM 690 ENDURO R, I hate to see it go but just cant seem to find the time to ride. Purchased in January of this year with 3 miles on it (from the tuning). All miles have been on pavement and only for the purpose of keeping the fluids moving through it. Never seen the dirt, never dropped, tires still have the little strands on them. I have put on a skid plate, 1.5 inch Kouba lowering link, FMF Titanium pipe, and it has been professionally mapped, by SMS racing in Denton, Tx were the bike was purchased. Had hopes to do the Trans America Trail, but going to put that on hold a year or so and hate to see the bike just sit. I have all the original paperwork and parts. (I think I even have the little plastic covers that go over the instrument cluster and clutch cover. I have just about 1,000 in extras on this bike. The 2013 KTM 450 SX-F Factory Edition receives a number of updates from the limited edition model released last year, developed during Dungey’s Supercross and Motocross campaign.
Day 2 Dakar 2014: Sunderland Wins First Special Stage
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Honda won the second day of competition with Team HRC’s Sam Sunderland claiming victory in the first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Sunderland has had a frustrating time at previous Dakars, dropping out after three days of racing in 2012 and withdrawing a month before last year’s event due to fracturing both his wrists. Today, however, Sunderland made a grand entrance into the club of elite riders by brilliantly winning his first special stage of this year’s Dakar. Having started well behind his teammate, Joan Barreda, the 23-year old Brit superbly overtook Michael Metge and Juan Pedrero on the first part of the route.
