KTM Other description

2011 KTM 250 SX-F, KTM is one of the machines that bring a lot of excitement to this year’s competition. Austrian engineers have obviously been planning this bike for a while as it sees major changes on all fronts: engine, chassis, suspension and bodywork, many of which coincide with the larger KTM 350 SX-F and KTM 450 SX-F. Compared to last year the 250 gets better marks in all the categories it struggled in and it’s an improved machine that offers a ton of features.

2012 KTM Freeride 350 Deliveries Begin

Tue, 17 Apr 2012

KTM has started production of its light-weight Freeride 350 and units are already on their way to dealerships. Unfortunately, those of us in North America have to wait a while longer, with the infamous leaked Powerpoint slide from KTM’s dealer meeting listing the Freeride 350 as part of its 2013 offerings. Still, we can’t help but be captivated by the photograph above released by KTM.

2014 AMA Supercross – Atlanta Results

Mon, 24 Feb 2014

KTM‘s Ken Roczen continues to impress, taking his second AMA Supercross win of his 450-class rookie season at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. Roczen, who also won the season opening Anaheim 1 round, took advantage of a mistake by Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto to take the win and move within nine points of the defending champion in the rider standings. The main event started with Smartop Motoconcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi taking the holeshot for his best start this season.

My dream bike for 2013: The KTM 250GPR

Fri, 26 Oct 2012

I never really know when I’m asked what my dream bike would be but should Camelot shine on me this Saturday I know what I want at the moment, the KTM250GPR. At around £45,000 and with only 49bhp the Austrian firms over the counter Moto 3 racer for 2013 might not sound that appealing but I beg to differ. For starters they look stunning so I’d never get bored of looking at it in my garage but the technical spec and potential fun of taking one to a race track is what really turns me on. Far from being some motocross engine shoehorned into a steel trellis frame the 250GPR is just a small step down from Sandro Cortese’s world championship winning Moto 3 machine.
