KTM Other description

Selling a 2005 1/2 KTM 250 SXF. Asking $2800 but that is negotiable. I have owned it since 2006. The bike is in terrific shape. It is pretty much stock (it even has the original tires on it).I did install a stainless steel reusable oil filter a few months ago, a new air filter and new Acerbis hand guards.I rode the bike 2-3 times in 2006 then due to some family tragedies the bike sat in storage until 2010. In 2010 I literally rode it twice then it sat in storage again until May of this year (2013). So as far as actual hours on the bike I am not sure, but I do know that it is not a tremendous amount. If I had to guess I would say that I have not put more than 50 hrs on it. If interested please call or text.

KTM Ready to Race Again, Entering Moto3 Class in 2012

Fri, 03 Jun 2011

KTM announced it will return to Grand Prix road racing in 2012 with a new racebike for the new 250cc four-stroke Moto3 class. The Austrian manufacturer discontinued its Grand Prix road racing program in 2009, withdrawing from the 125cc class (pictured above is current Moto2 racer Marc Marquez racing for the KTM factory team in the 2009 125cc class). With the Moto3 class set to replace the 125cc class in 2012, KTM will return with a new racebike.

The North East,Prescott and fast laps with Chris Walker at Mallory

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

A big thanks to all at Newcastle Motorcycles for lending me a Honda CB1000F on Saturday to do nothing other than join mates for a blast round some fantastic roads in the North East. The buddies in question were Alan Smith (Bradley’s dad) and two stroke addict and race fan Chris Berriman. We headed east over the moors from the ‘Toon’ heading towards Barnard Castle then back through Consett before finishing up at the picturesque Tynemouth.

2014 AMA Supercross – Anaheim 3 Results

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Chad Reed tasted victory for the second time in three weeks at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., leading all 20 laps and fending off a last-lap challenge from rookie upstart Ken Roczen. Reed, who also won the Jan. 18 round in the second of three Anaheim races, now trails fellow Kawasaki rider Ryan Villopoto by just two points in the 2014 AMA Supercross championship race.
