2013 Ktm Exc on 2040-motos
KTM EXC tech info
KTM EXC description
2013 KTM 500 EXC, fuel injected.
I set this bike up to be bullet-proof, and it has been wonderful. It does have the scuffs and small dents expected for a 2013 dual-sport that has been used as the designers intended. All the parts are there, and everything works perfectly. For full disclosure, the photos make the bike look better than it does in person. All the little nicks and scratches don't show up. The engine oil (always Motorex) and filters were changed/cleaned religiously The chain, sprockets, fork seals, wipers, fork oil, and front and rear brake oil have about five rides on them. The bike is in the stock configuration (see photos with orange plastic), with the addition of: --Rekluse Core EXP 3.0, with the Rekluse adjustable slave cylinder --Enduro Engineering skid plate --Enduro Engineering bar risers --Tubliss Generation 2 tubeless tire system, front and rear --Flatland Racing radiator guards and braces --KTM Powerparts rear brake disc protector --Slavens Racing fork springs and rear shock spring set up for 220 lb rider --Samco orange silicone hoses --G2 Dirt Tamer throttle tube (the three different cam size version). The middle cam is currently installed (stock tube will come with the bike). --a few misc. KTM orange-anodized "bling" covers --Pro Taper "Woods High" bars --Pro Taper "Pillow Top Lite" grips --The bike has been "de-smogged", but will come with all the removed components --The sale will also include the stock clutch, stock KTM grips, stock fork springs and stock orange shock spring, stock hoses, and the stock rear brake caliper carrier. I usually rode the bike in the white plastic configuration (with PG Grafix "2013 Race" "gripper" decals; see photos), and also: --a newer, stronger 2014 KTM front fender, with a fender conversion kit --a Sicass Racing rear fender, with combination L.E.D. brake/tail/license plate light --Sicass L.E.D. low-profile rear turn signals --Fastway aluminum hand guards with Enduro Engineering guard covers All the white plastic and above-mentioned items come with the sale. In addition to all of the above, I have many other useful items that come with the bike: several different-size sprockets, grips, and misc. parts. The tires are Dunlop GEOMAX AT81, front and rear. They have many miles of useful life left, but are not street-legal. Note: The Seat Concepts saddle (pictured in the photos with white plastic) will not come with the bike. The bike is located in far western Maryland, near Deep Creek Lake and Wisp Resort. Clear title. Bike is currently licensed in Maryland. No shipping. Cash only. A PayPal deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours of the sale. The bike is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the eBay sale without notice. Thanks. |

2014 HRC Dakar Team Announced
Thu, 30 May 2013Today at Mugello, ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the famous Italian racetrack, Team HRC unveiled its 2014 Dakar team and motorcycle. Interestingly, one person many thought could be a Red Rider this year after leaving KTM, Cyril Despres, will not be riding a Honda next year, instead joining Yamaha’s Dakar effort. However, HRC’s team still features five accomplished riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (UK), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal), all of whom will be competing on the CRF450 Rally.

The news comes from a presentation of preliminary revenues and earnings for the 2021 business year, confirming that an E-Duke is in development. While this is the first official confirmation of an E-Duke, its development comes as no surprise, especially after KTM’s sister brand Husqvarna revealed an E-Pilen concept last April.
