KTM EXC description

Hi, came close to selling this bike recently on eBay so thought I would raise the stakes and remove the reserve!

The ONLY reason I am selling this beast of a bike, I bought this thinking I would store it by the Santa Ana Mountains (40 miles away) and drive out there weekly to ride it on the dirt..unfortunately I got made redundant after i purchased the bike so having a full dirt bike setup in the middle of Hollywood I decided to swap the wheels out for the street (that was in August) the bike has since been sitting in the garage..I have taken it around the neighborhood a couple of times and in the canyons twice and this thing is just PHENOMENAL lighter than a 690 SMC with the same power and if you have ever ridden on of those thumpers you will immediately know the attraction..

Since purchase (June 2013)

I have had the engine oil changed, the bike assessed by a KTM Specialist, the air filter cleaned and oiled (pj1), the wheel conversion and added Wolfman Luggage

For those of you interested in having the dirt wheel as well, the good thing about KTM is you can pick up any older EXC XC model wheels and they are a direct swap with this bike $400 on Craigslist or eBay for an older model bike :)

---------------------

It is the buyers responsibility to make any necessary arrangements to see the bike prior to committing to purchase it through this site, I have done my best to describe the bike as best as possible.

...I WILL DONATE 1% OF MY SALE TO A CHARITY OF YOUR CHOICE..

2014 MotoGP Qatar in Pictures

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

The opening round of the 2014 MotoGP season is complete, and if the Grand Prix of Qatar is any indication, it looks like it’ll be an interesting season. If you haven’t yet, read up on the recap for the Qatar MotoGP race for the details on what transpired at Losail International Circuit in Doha. Here then are some of the (mostly spoiler-free) photographs from the Grand Prix of Qatar, including images from the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 classes.

Why KTM's sport 350 is a good idea

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

KTM were unlucky when their plans were leaked (for covert market research?). Amongst those listed was the forecast for a Moto3 350. Now it is unlikely that the Moto3 class is going to grow from 250 to 350 by 2014, unless KTM are aware of something that the MotoGP rule-makers aren't.
