KTM EXC description

What I have for you today is my beloved 530 that has been by far my favorite bike of all time. So you ask, why am I selling it...well I'm finally ready for some FI and am upgrading to a newer model. This bike has been torn down to the frame and completely rebuilt with all an new engine/parts/upgrades/farkles/you name it. The engine has 102 miles on it since the rebuild and the first one lasted 7700 miles before I even redid the top end. These bikes are a testament to the KTM name and the quality of craftsmanship.

- Complete engine rebuild by JDH (from KTMtalk), oil sump modification to one sump instead of two. Whole top end rebuilt with new parts, bottom end and tranny were still up to spec with no issues.
- Factory Connection suspension front/rear .46 springs in front, rear can't remember the exact number of the spring, but the bike is sprung for a 210lb rider and is DIALED in!
- Cycra Pro-bend handguards
- ProTaper Contour Fat Bars
- 18-20mm offset black billet triple clamps
- Tubliss system in the rear, never ended up replacing the front end so there's a HD Moose tube in there now
- Oil pump shaft and sprocket have been upgraded
- KTM hard parts skid plate with easy disconnect
- Always used Engine Ice in the radiator
- Dirt Tricks cam chain tensioner
- Moose Racing Rad Guards
- GUTS racing seat with new cover
- FMF Ti Q4 exhaust
- Brand new plastics (have second used set in the box)
- Mobil 1 is the only oil I have ever used in this bike (probably why the tranny looked so good)
- New clutch with about 300 miles on it
- New headlight, bulb, wiring, and associated switches
- Brand new wiring harness throughout the bike
- Orange Free Flow carb hoses
- Orange Factory radiator hoses
- New custom Motocal graphics
- Enduro Engineering exhaust shield
- P3 carbon header protector
- Dirt Tricks Ironman counter sprocket/sprocket (14/50) with DID Gold chain (toughest one)
- KTM Hard parts Enduro rear light
- JD jet kit installed with a spare JD jet kit in the box
- Moose Stainless steel oil filter
- KTM Hard parts radiator fan
- Clockworks 3 gal tank (not installed with spare shrouds)
- KTM hard parts frame guards
- New Acerbis chain guide and slider
- New Maxxis on the front and Michelin S12 on the back (almost brand new tires with only a couple of rides)
- Shorai lightweight lithium battery
- KTM Hard parts fork bleeders

One caveat....the Scott's stabilizer will not be coming with the bike.

I also have a box, full of spare parts (brake pads, air filters, etc) for this bike that will go along with it.

As you can see the work has been done and money put in from the all the additions/farkles/upgrades. Some of you might think I'm crazy for selling this bike, but it's worth every penny. Title is free and clear. Bike is located in Navarre, FL 32566. PM me with any and all questions.

Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.

2014 Bajaj Pulsar 375 – The Fully-Faired Indian Version of the KTM 390 Duke Spied

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Indian website Powerdrift has uncovered photographs of what it claims to be a Bajaj Pulsar 375, a faired sportbike based on the KTM 390 Duke. A Bajaj-branded version of the 390 Duke should be no surprise. The Indian company, after all, owns a 47% stake in Austrian-based KTM, and it released its own version of the 200 Duke in the 2012 Bajaj Pulsar 200NS.
